Customs Duties, VAT, GST & Import Taxes

For international orders, customers are solely responsible for:

  • Brokerage fees

These charges are determined by the destination country and are outside our control.

Refused Customs Charges

If customs duties or import charges are refused by the customer, the shipment may be returned, abandoned, or destroyed by customs authorities. Original shipping charges remain non-refundable. Return shipping or customs-related charges may be deducted from eligible refunds where applicable.

Tracking Information

Tracking details are generally shared after successful shipment dispatch. Please allow courier systems adequate time to update shipment tracking information.

Some shipping methods or remote-area deliveries may have limited tracking visibility depending on the destination country and courier service.

Incorrect Shipping Address & Failed Deliveries

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping address, postal/ZIP code, contact number, and all delivery details.

If a shipment is returned due to incorrect address, failed delivery attempts, refused delivery, or unclaimed package, the customer may be responsible for:

  • Re-shipping charges
  • Return shipping fees

Gulmohar Decor is not responsible for losses caused by incorrect customer-provided delivery information.

Damaged or Lost Shipments

48-Hour Claim Window

If an order arrives damaged, customers must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

To process shipping-related claims, customers may be required to provide:

  • Clear photographs of the product
  • Outer packaging images
  • Shipping label photographs
  • Order details

Claims may be subject to internal review, courier investigation, and shipping carrier verification. We reserve the right to deny unsupported or fraudulent claims.

A shipment may only be considered lost after courier investigation completion, reasonable transit delay assessment, and carrier confirmation where applicable.

Delivery Delays & Force Majeure

Delivery timelines are estimates only. Gulmohar Decor shall not be held liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control including:

Partial Shipments

Orders containing multiple products may occasionally be shipped separately depending on:

  • Warehouse operations
  • Package size limitations
  • Manufacturing schedules

Customers may receive multiple shipments and tracking numbers for a single order. This is normal and does not indicate an issue with your order.

Fraud Prevention & Order Verification

For security and fraud prevention purposes, Gulmohar Decor reserves the right to:

  • Request additional customer verification
  • Delay shipment for security review
  • Cancel suspicious or high-risk orders

Orders flagged by fraud prevention systems or payment processors may be delayed or cancelled for security reasons.

Custom-Made Product Notice

Certain products sold through Gulmohar Decor may be made-to-order, customized, or printed specifically per customer request. Customers are advised to carefully review the following before completing their purchase:

  • Our maximum liability relating to shipping claims shall not exceed the purchase value of the affected product.
